Here at Pure Training Solutions, we put `you’ the learner at the heart of every course we deliver. Thankfully in life, we all have individual likes, dislikes, and personal preferences and no more so than when attending a training course. Covid-19 has changed many aspects of how live, work, play and learn and as a training provider, we have adjusted how we deliver our courses to ensure the continuation of safe learning, that’s accessible to our learners, however they prefer to learn. The following examples are intended to help you identify your preferred learning style. Virtual Learning – Live real lime courses via Zoom or MS Teams
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, this style of learning has become increasingly popular with learners and employers. Courses are delivered via Zoom or MS Teams by an experienced course tutor. Virtual learning always requires a stable internet connection and can include virtual face-to-face interactions (webinar, online lecture, virtual meeting). Attendees require a reasonable level of competency in connecting their PC’s, Laptops, Tablets or Mobile Phone to the Zoom or Teams link, sufficient internet credit and a quiet place to work.

Blended learning is a combination of classroom and virtual or e: learning and is ideally suited to courses that require the application of knowledge and skills. By using blended learning, it can reduce the duration of attendance at the training centre and allows a greater degree of flexibility for individual learners to progress at their own pace.

E: learning
E-learning, sometimes referred to as online learning, is the acquisition of knowledge which takes place through electronic technologies and media. In simple language, e-learning is defined as “learning that is enabled electronically”. Typically, e-learning is conducted on the Internet, where students can access their learning materials online at any place and time. E-Learning most often takes place in the form of online courses but can include some virtual learning via MS Teams or Zoom.

Classroom Learning
We can all relate to learning in classroom and whilst still a traditional means of learning that is accessed by many, it is recognised that many young people and adults are willing and perfectly capable of taking a greater degree of responsibility for their own learning and therefore classroom based delivery is ideal for those requiring a more structured and supportive learning environment, often by attending a short 1 day course for just a few hours, including sitting the end of course exam to qualify.

Self-Study Learning
A flexible way of learning about a subject that involves studying alone at home, rather than in a classroom with a course tutor. It can involve the use of reading course handbooks, notes or completing work sheets, specimen exam questions and conducting research. Once completed, coursework can be returned via post, email or brought into the training centre for marking and feedback from the course tutor. Feedback can be written, in person or by telephone. For learners that have no or limited access to IT and the internet and are unable to attend classroom-based courses, this can be a great way to learn.
