This qualification is ideal for professionals wanting to start a career as a qualified assessor, either working for a college, training provider, or working as a freelancer. As a qualified assessor, you will be able to assess learners in colleges and in the workplace. This accredited qualification is a knowledge-based qualification, designed for individuals who want to learn adequate assessing competence in the work environment, and understand the practices and principles of assessment in an easy to grasp manner. The course is suitable for anyone who is responsible for assessing progress in their work environment.
The award is designed to develop the students’ ability to:

Gain the skills and knowledge to assess vocational and training abilities using a range of assessment methods
Understand the key principles and processes of assessment strategies
Monitor and maintain records, analyse deficiencies, and lead corrective action efforts
