Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry

Summary
This qualification is aimed at anyone wanting to work as a door supervisor in the UK. Under the Private Security Industry Act 2001, all door supervisors must hold a licence to practise issued by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).

The Security Industry Authority (SIA) recognises that it is essential for all security officers to have undergone a structured programme of training. To become a security officer a person must be in possession of a licence issued to them by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).

This qualification is for anyone wishing to be employed as a CCTV operator. The Security Industry Authority (SIA) recognises that it is essential for all CCTV (Public Space Surveillance) operators to have undergone a structured programme of training. For public space surveillance a person must be in possession of a licence issued to them by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
