Pure Training Solutions, working in Partnership with East Riding of Yorkshire Council Adult Learning and Employability Service are pleased to be delivering the Multiply programme across the East Riding with courses available in the following towns: Beverley, Bridlington, Driffield, Goole, Hessle, Hornsea, Market Weighton, Pocklington & Withernsea

Summary:

Multiply is a new programme offering you free and easy access to courses and initiatives to help you brush up on your numeracy skills and help you manage your money. For attendees wishing to access more formal training in maths and work towards gaining a maths qualification, Pure Training Solutions can support your next steps by discussing the best way forward to gain a maths qualification.

The course content includes:

• ​Your financial personality.

• The basics of using numeracy to manage your money.

• Building a budget planner - we provide the calculators!

• Taking meter readings.

• Virtual shopping basket price comparison.

• Online national numeracy challenge.

• Optional - Preparing a basic meal on a budget.

• Optional - using a computer to check your calculations.

• And information, advice, and support about your next steps in working towards gaining a maths qualification.

Course Dates:

​

The multiply courses enrols weekly throughout 2023 until March 2024.

​

Courses are available between 9.30am and 2.30pm and are designed to fit around school hours. Additional, courses can also be delivered on evenings from Monday to Thursday from 18:00 to 21:00.    

Duration:

​

From 2 to 9 hours. We suggest enrolling for just 1 session of 3 hours and then deciding if you’d like to continue your learning. It’s your choice, our dedicated team are here and available to support you throughout your course.

Tea, coffee & biscuits are provided, plus voucher to purchase lunch or supper where courses run over mealtimes.  

 

To enrol:

​

Complete and submit the online enrolment form adding the date of enrolment as the course date.

 

We shall then contact you within 48 hours to confirm the course Venue, Date and Time.

​

Funding: Please note that your learning with us will be funded by the Department for Education (DfE).
