Vocational learning can take place in a variety of environments, depending on the needs of the learner and the employer. It’s therefore important to be able to assess vocational achievement where it is carried out as required. The Highfield Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF) has been developed by Highfield’s very own vocational learning experts for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in a workshop, classroom or other training environments. The qualification will support a role in the workplace, and will provide a broad understanding of the subject, making it ideal for anyone working in an assessment role. Topics covered include: • Understanding the principles and practices of assessment • Assess occupational competence in the work environment • Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding Course duration: 3 – 6 months Assessment: Portfolio of evidence
